Happy Pioneer day!!

The 24th of July is a big deal in Utah (a little bigger than the 4th) I remember when I was living in Arizona and getting excited for Pioneer day (the 24th of July) ...but funny thing is...they don't celebrate Pioneer day! I thought everybody celebrated I was ready for BBQ's parades and best of all some more fireworks. Needless to say I was super excited for the 24th this year! We went to the Spanish Fork parade (that nich was in) then had a BBQ with friends at the Iverson's

Our adventures started with a balloon ride and breakfast courtesy of the Kenny Parcell team ReMax results.
the balloon just went up to 60 ft or so but that was far enough for me!

Nich wanted this jello pretzel salad for his birthday cake...and since he is on the no sugar kick we made it with sugar free jello and sugar free whipcream. Surprisingly it was really good!

and of course we went boating for nich's birthday and I forgot to take our camera with us (i know not a true blogger) so just imagine us on the water (perfect glass) ski and wakeboarding to our hearts content!

Fourth of July

For the July 4th we went to Logan on the 3rd and watch the fireworks at USU. They always put on a great show...we go every year, get a pizza play card games eat junk food and listen to the band playing. Then the next morning we drove up to my Grandma Meppen's and watched the fireworks with her. She lives right by the freeway where they shoot off the fireworks so we get front row seats for free!! Its was a lot of fun to see family and spend time with them.

Four Wheel'n

Payson ward activity... we went Four wheelin (this ward knows how to have a well attended ward activity) up Spanish Fork canyon to Daniel Summit! We had so much fun!

Brad, Melissa and Melissa's friend Melissa!! The second Melissa's four wheeler broke on the way up... so Brad proudly stepped up to be the hero and volunteered to take both the Melissa's down the hill!!
